A través
Rivas elije a Jackie Mittoo y Winston
Roger Rivas, the keyboard king behind
The Aggrolites and Bullets has launched his first attack on bringing his own compositions to the masses. After releasing 2 collections of his
Organ Versions (classic tracks with a Rivas workout laid over them) along with his Bullets collection he’s now launched Rivas Recordings.
The goal of the label will be simple. Release high quality Rivas
produced tunes using musicians hand-picked from the best of the best
from the Los Angeles area and maybe talents from around the world
courtesy of his endless touring schedule on limited edition vinyl
singles.
Sounds like more vinyl gold from this modern Reggae master. The tunes
will continue Roger’s love of all things Jamaican UK inspired with
heavy doses of his East LA roots style.
The debut single “First Attack” is a skinhead reggae style scorcher
(of course) that reminds you of a lost Dynamites/ Winston Wright hit.
It’s credited to Rogers All Stars. He went ahead and posted a video clip
to YouTube of the track which we’ve embedded below.
